The Nursery
Cherish Day Nursery operates in a self-contained
building, benefiting from exclusive use, located within a larger complex
of a private, community building (www.thegrovecentre.org.uk).
There are parking spaces available and right of use for the purposes
of dropping children off and collecting them.
The nursery operates over two stories, has two excellent outdoor spaces and is registered for 30 children from the age of 6 months to 5 years. The general outlay of the premises is inviting and colourful which provides an ideal environment for a happy and productive nursery.
Ground Floor - The ground floor reception area leads to the secure area which is designated for 8 toddlers and 12 pre-school children, with access to the secure garden play areas.
First Floor - The first floor consists of a secure area designated for 10 babies.
The outdoor areas include an all weather surface area leading to a large, grassed playing field.

Our nursery layout ensures that children learn and develop appropriately and are kept healthy and safe.
Through a mix of adult-led, child-led and free flow play, facilitated by the nursery layout and the nursery staff, children learn to act both independently and collaboratively to discover and make sense of the world.
